The answer is easier after the explanation. But would you put your virtual chips on it before you see the answer?
In rheumatology, confidence and correctness are not always the same thing. A familiar test result can be misleading. A reassuring treatment story may hide an important detail. And sometimes the most useful question is not “What do you know?” but “How sure are you, and why?”
That is the idea behind RheumaPlay, a new series of physician-authored, browser-based learning games. You make a choice under a timer, commit virtual chips according to your confidence, then read the explanation. The chips are imaginary, and there is no money or gambling. The clinical reasoning is the point.

Four days of work behind the scenes
Between October 25 and 28, work on Rheumatology in Perspective focused on making the expanding site easier to use: checking topic hubs, cross-links, tags, search routes, language consistency and the way readers move between a case, its parent collection and the wider Library. The reviews span spondyloarthritis, vasculitis, myositis, Sjögren’s disease, early autoimmunity, lupus nephritis and short reads. Corrections continue where issues are found; the aim is to improve the paths without disturbing the teaching inside the modules.
A separate Quick Guide now provides a simpler map of the publication. Meanwhile, the interactive collection keeps expanding—in a more unexpected direction.

What makes these different?
RheumaPlay adds a second question to the usual quiz: How much confidence does your answer deserve? The professional games explore diagnostic and treatment decisions; the patient games explore real-life questions, evidence, and the balance between the risks of untreated disease and appropriate, monitored treatment. They are meant to inform, not alarm or substitute for personal care.
There is plenty of serious medicine here. There is also room to enjoy learning it.
