RheumaView Dose & Perspective is now available on RheumaView Research. This original calculator brings an imaging history, cumulative dose estimates and familiar exposure comparisons into one workspace for patients and professionals.
Choose an examination, identify the side, record the projections and enter how many times it was performed. The running total and examination list update together. Natural background radiation, air travel and other reference exposures help put the number in context; airport screening is explained separately.

Right, left or bilateral studies; projections per side or per whole examination; repeat counts; and facility-supplied effective doses.

A reusable record
Review or edit each entry, print a summary, and export or import a ledger. Saving on the device is optional.
Projection counts are recorded; they do not automatically multiply an examination-level reference dose. Bilateral ×2 is an explicit approximation. A custom dose that already covers both sides is counted once. The tool estimates dose for context; it does not validate a personal cancer-risk prediction.

Reference doses are approximate. This is a dose-comparison and communication tool, not a validated patient-specific cancer-risk score or a limit on medically indicated imaging. Sources and calculation assumptions are available within the calculator.
