Worlds Spiral
A short film by Olga Goodman · 1:20
This film is a thought experiment about time. Here the ages of the world lie side by side: somewhere the temple fires are still burning while glass towers catch their first dawn. Between those two mornings a doorway of golden glyphs stands open. Space obeys the same law, hanging whole worlds within walking distance of one another, joined by causeways of light. Seen from far enough away, our own present turns into one more ancient civilization, an island adrift among the rest. At the end time shows its true shape — a slow spiral, every age one winding arm of the same galaxy, still turning as the screen goes dark.
